Caregivers Guide to Stress Reduction: Practical Tools and Resources
In this session we will be discussing the impact stress has on our psychological well-being and some ways we can decrease our daily stress.  The goal will be to provide everyday tools, activities, resources and options for caregivers to utilize on a day to day basis, in order to continue supporting their loved ones to the best of their abilities.

Forever…in motion stress relieving exercises, with take-home exercise sheets, followed by group discussions.

The Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA) responds to caregiver needs by providing easy access to information, social and emotional support, coordination of resources, and developing a caregiver network in an age-friendly community. Our Caregiver Information and Support program saw over 146 caregivers attend Caregiver workshops in the city  including: Living with the Stress of Caregiving (Learning, Sharing and Connecting with other Caregivers), our annual Caregiver Forum (Easing the Stress of Caregivers), CADTH (Fundamentals of Online Health Care Research), and the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan (ABC’s of Dementia).
The Saskatoon Caregiver Information and Support Centre has been a program of the Saskatoon Council on Aging since 2000.
