Events and Happenings

The Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA) responds to caregiver needs by providing easy access to information, social and emotional support, coordination of resources, and developing a caregiver network in an age-friendly community. Our Caregiver Information and Support program saw over 146 caregivers attend Caregiver workshops in the city  including: Living with the Stress of Caregiving (Learning, Sharing and Connecting with other Caregivers), our annual Caregiver Forum (Easing the Stress of Caregivers), CADTH (Fundamentals of Online Health Care Research), and the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan (ABC’s of Dementia).
The Saskatoon Caregiver Information and Support Centre has been a program of the Saskatoon Council on Aging since 2000.
